Making Music Yorkshire
Nationally, Making Music represents over 1,800 member societies, made up of choirs, choral societies, orchestras, music festivals and music promoting clubs, as well as steel bands, folk groups, gospel choirs, barber shop groups, handbell ringers, guitar ensembles, jazz bands, latin-american goups and the like. Making Music Yorkshire, which serves Yorkshire and the Humber, is a local committee providing the link between Making Music and local members and supporting the 150 or so Making Music members in the region.
