Ackworth

Ackworth is a village in the metropolitan borough of Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, situated between Pontefract, Barnsley and Doncaster, on the small River Went.

Ackworth School, a Quaker-run boarding and day school for ages five to eighteen, was founded in 1779.
